Seafoam for Rough Idle or hesitation

After talking with some friends about carbon deposits and dirty injectors I came across a well known product called Seafoam, http://www.seafoamsales.com/ stuffs been around for years and is by many accounts the best automotive cleaner around.

So I gave it a shot, the results were phenomenal! I was experiencing a really rough idle/vibration and a little hesitation. I checked everything from plugs, coils, vanos, and even the engine mounts; all in good shape. I’m not saying this will work for everyone, but a lot of people that have used this method and product have experienced excellent results. It turned out that I had some dirty fuel injectors and probably a lot of carbon deposits throughout the engine (have 35K currently on the odometer) that was causing the above symptoms. Anyhow here’s what I did:

Refinish/Restore Curb Rashed wheels

Okay guys, so time has come around for me to refinish my wheels. I’ve been looking to do this for a while as my wheels were totally curbed and damaged from the previous owner (he never learned how to parallel park in DC apparently). However, since im a broke college kid, I decided to do it myself, which was well worth it . So as you can see the damage is really bad on 1 wheel, and moderately bad on the other. I will only be showing you the repair of two wheels because of time constraints.
I will try and post large picture so you can see the full detail of the damage and progress of refinishing. Whenever I was looking at other DIY’s on how to do it, their pictures suck and it was really frustrating . I have to give credit to Acejam2k From IWSTI Forums, His DIY inspired me to refinish my own wheels, and create another detailed DIY for us Fanatics

Fender rolling

So my my e46 has 255/35/18′s with a 9.5″ off set on the fear. I bought the car like this, the wall of the rear tires are eaten up pretty bad. The fenders would rub over every single dip in the road or sharp turn. Needless to say I decided to roll them. I like the wide aggressive look so I didn’t want to switch to smaller tires. This is my experience with what little photos I did take, sorry its not a very thorough DIY its my first one, but maybe you can learn some thing from the thread if you plan to roll your fenders.

Dyeing Leather Door Inserts for Two Tone Interior

This DIY will show you how to dye your leather (or leatherette) door panel inserts to the color of your choice.
You need the following:
-Leather recoloring kit from leatherworldtech.com with dye color of your choice
I ordered this past noon one day and they had the cinnamon mixed and shipped out that afternoon…very satisfied with them
-Drill with sanding bit
-approximately 120 8×1/2 screws with washers (3/16 worked well)
-atleast 24 number 12 screws and washers
-aleast 8 number 10 screws and washers
-2inch poly brush sponge brushes ( I used a new one for each panel)

Detailing Your Car

* Strip off any existing wax
* Prepare the paint surface by using a clay product to eliminate any surface contaminants
* Polish the paint with the Porter Cable polisher
* Wax the paint with the same polisher
