BMW E46 3 Series DIY

Got bored and picked up a pair of vanity lights from ebay for �3.00. Seller said they came off an E90 and were a direct swap with the ones from the E46, so I gave it a try.

New Light

Removed old light, just pull and it comes out

New light (top), old light (bottom)

Wires.. will tap the new lights on these.

Grey/Black is the same, but the other colours are different, doesn’t matter! Used taps so that I would retain old plugs without cutting anything

Testing

Push back and you are done. 3 minutes each side. Looks better IMO
